We are fortunate to be only 5 minutes away from Club de Polo Ampurdan. During the High Season there are tournaments most weekends (usually 0-4 goals) and chukkas during the week. Horse riding lessons, excursions/ hacking in the fabulous countryside across rivers and up in the hills can be arranged. In the past we have hosted polo players playing in the tournaments looking for some luxury during their stay and other activities for their families. There are also regular polo clinics for novices.

What better way to spend a day than to be out on a boat, some snorkelling and a fabulous lunch in one of the coves (calitas) or beachfront restaurants in Cadaques? 

 This can be relatively easily arranged with or without a skipper (if you have a boat licence and are a competent skipper).

Mountain Biking

Girona is a mecca for serious cyclists because of the mountainous terrain, sea views and sunny weather. Nearer home, we have an abundance of mountain paths and dry river rides through the forest as well as some scenic road tours. Basic mountain bike rentals available.

Hiking and coastal walks

We are at the foot of the Pyrenees and so there are many options for some trekking in the mountains and in the forest and on the famous coastal walks. Some of these are in National Parks and there are refuges for overnight stays. You could also rent a kayak!
